If all men are created equal.....

The ego is a powerful drug.  It lies to us every day.  In our head, it works the magic: You can't compare, you can't keep up, you are inferior. So we compensate.

I got an idea, let's be ourselves and stop this madness.

I try to do good

I tried to do good but it was someone else’s fault that I didn't.......Huh?  Casting blame toward others for our poor behavior is the act of a pea-brained juvenile.  That's all I have to say about that....

Sigmund Freud said we have something called a Super-ego It is the part of us that develops based on our experiences, cultural norms, and beliefs. This is a nasty little fellow that smacks us with guilt based on a set of rules that may or may not be true.  I call it baggage.  Every time we punish ourselves for a perceived wrong, our baggage gets a little bigger.  Soon, we find ourselves emotionally and physically drained at the end of the day, due to dragging this big ass suitcase.

And to think, we have the authority to cut it loose but don’t…wonder why?
